Job summary

Humana, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Manager to acquire, cleanse, and develop datasets for analysis and reporting. You will shape data architectures, enforce governance, and ensure data accessibility and reliability for enterprise users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 7 years of technical experience in data analysis with ETL tools.
• 3 years of experience using DataBricks.
• Experience in SQL environments with SSMS/SSIS.
• Extensive experience with stored procedures and dynamic SQL.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure Synapse, Snowflake) and Power Platform.
• Experience leading projects through full lifecycle (design to deployment).
• Excellent root-cause analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid presentation skills for client meetings and progress updates.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical data requirements.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, clean, and develop datasets from internal and external sources to support analysis and reporting.
• Validate, store, and protect data to ensure accessibility, reliability, and timeliness for users.
• Develop and execute data architectures, policies, and procedures for enterprise data lifecycle.
• Prepare data for reporting and create visualizations to support business needs.
• Collaborate with business and IT to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Lead projects end-to-end and ensure delivery within scope and deadlines.
• Communicate findings and insights to leaders to drive decisions.
