Job summary

Databricks is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to develop customer engagement strategies within your territory and coach junior teams in use case prioritization and technical advocacy. You will influence stakeholders across the cloud ecosystem and act as a trusted advisor for data analytics architecture.

You will champion customers and colleagues, contribute to the technical community with collateral, workshops, and meetups, and have an opportunity to grow through four tracks including

Qualifications

• 10+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
• Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams to achieve long-term customer success.
• Hands-on experience with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platform(s).
• Know how to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in your designated territory.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
• Be a 'champion' for both customers and colleagues, acting as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Contribute to Databricks' technical community engagement by developing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
