Job summary

Cedar is seeking a seasoned Sr. Software Engineer to join its Data & Integrations Engineering team on the Integrations Engineering squad to integrate with new client systems and enhance the integrations of our live clients.

You will partner closely with Data & Integrations Platform, Product, Delivery, and Support. This role focuses on refining core data pipelines through data semantics, 835 processing, and data catalog and lineage, while ensuring scalable, reliable integrations for Cedar Pay.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing scalable systems in data/integration domains.
• Strong communication across cross-functional teams.
• Mentor peers and fosters pairing, feedback and growth.
• Pragmatic about architecture decisions and tradeoffs.
• Passionate about improving healthcare through thoughtful software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of interfaces for live integration data.
• Serve as a product engineer for internal users, delivering data abstractions.
• Support live clients with strategic integration enhancements.
• Mentor the team, establish coding standards and best practices.
• Balance today’s delivery with a future North Star Architecture.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to improve data integration quality.
• Drive scalability in data tools and processes to reduce timelines and costs.
• Apply rigorous software engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, logging).
