Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on technology leader to shape enterprise data, application development, and systems integration with architecture ownership and a distributed development team. The role offers hybrid flexibility, executive visibility, and modern cloud technologies to drive a long-term data architecture roadmap.

You will mentor a distributed team, partner with stakeholders, and own the SDLC while delivering scalable data pipelines and API integrations in a high-visibility environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance the organization’s enterprise data architecture strategy
• Define a data architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives and integration requirements
• Design enterprise data models, data flows, storage solutions, and platform architecture
• Establish standards for data modeling, storage, accessibility, and lifecycle management
• Design and oversee scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Guide the implementation of batch and real-time data integrations
• Establish and enforce data governance practices covering quality, lineage, security, compliance, and access controls
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to support reporting, analytics, and operational data needs
• Align application and integration designs with enterprise architecture principles
• Define and lead enterprise API, workflow automation, and systems connectivity strategies
• Design API architectures and integration patterns using REST, GraphQL, SOAP, webhooks, and event-driven approaches
• Guide the development of automation solutions that streamline business processes
• Ensure integrations are scalable, secure, supportable, and aligned with enterprise standards
• Collaborate with internal business teams and external vendors to deliver reliable integration solutions
• Own and continuously improve the organization’s Software Development Lifecycle
• Promote consistent development standards for code quality, testing, documentation, deployment, and release management
• Define and maintain development platforms, environments, source-control practices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Establish best practices for version control, branching strategies, automated testing, and release managementLead and mentor a distributed team of developers focused on integration and automation
• Provide technical coaching, career development, and hands‑on guidance to early‑career developers
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high‑performing engineering culture
• Serve as the technical escalation point for complex data, development, and integration challenges
• Act as a player‑coach who can balance strategic architecture leadership with hands‑on technical involvement
• Communicate architecture decisions, roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
