Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director IT – Enterprise Data Architecture & Integration in Providence, RI. Hybrid schedule with in-office three days per week. Responsible for owning the enterprise data architecture strategy and integration leadership across a national professional services firm.

The role combines architecture vision with hands-on guidance to data engineering, integration, automation, and SDLC governance. Requires 10+ years in relevant fields and strong leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise data architecture or related fields.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data architecture and integration.
• Strong data modeling, database, and data pipelines skills.
• Hands-on with API/integration tech (REST, GraphQL, SOAP, webhooks).
• Leadership or mentoring experience; able to guide distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the enterprise data architecture strategy across data models, data flows, storage platforms, integrations, and enterprise applications.
• Develop a long-term data architecture roadmap aligned with business and technology priorities.
• Design and oversee ETL/ELT pipelines, real-time integrations, APIs, and system-to-system connectivity.
• Establish standards around data modeling, data lifecycle management, governance, quality, lineage, security, and access.
• Define enterprise integration patterns using REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, event-driven architecture, and related technologies.
• Lead automation initiatives using Power Automate, Power Apps, Azure Logic Apps, Python, and PowerShell.
• Own and mature the firm’s Software Development Lifecycle, including testing, documentation, CI/CD, deployment, and release practices.
• Lead and mentor a distributed team of developers as senior technical escalation point.
