Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Data Integration Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data ingestion pipelines powering Workforce Analytics. You will ingest data from enterprise systems, especially Workday, into the data platform using Fivetran, APIs, and file-based methods.

You will collaborate with Data Platform, Data Engineering, and HR systems teams to ensure timely, complete, and production-ready data for downstream modeling, analytics, and secure consumption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data integration engineering.
• Experience with Fivetran or similar ingestion tools.
• Experience integrating data via APIs and flat files.
• Hands-on experience with Workday integrations or HR data systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ingestion pipelines.
• Workday and HR data domain understanding and ingestion strategies.
• Monitor, alert, and ensure data completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Data Platform, Data Engineering, and HRIS teams to ensure data readiness.
