Job summary

Johnson Controls in the United States seeks a Senior Data Integration Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data ingestion pipelines powering Workforce Analytics.

You will acquire and standardize data from enterprise systems—especially Workday—using Fivetran, APIs, and file-based integrations, ensuring timely, complete, and production-ready data.

Collaborate with Data Platform, HRIS, and HR teams to optimize ingestion, monitoring, and CI/CD with Azure DevOps and GitHub.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data integration engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and data structuring knowledge.
• Experience with Workday data and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines.
• Integrate data from Workday and other HR systems using APIs and file-based methods.
• Ensure pipelines are robust, fault-tolerant, and production-ready.
• Monitor data quality, timeliness, and correctness with observability tools.
• Collaborate with Data Platform and HR teams to enable downstream analytics.
