Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our core team and perform a mix of design and implementation tasks to advance the technical foundation of the Fivetran product offering.

The role focuses on evolving a high-performance extract-load-transform data integration system, enabling hundreds of connectors with minimal maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and coding scalable software systems.
• Proven ability to work with legacy and modern software environments.
• Comfort with data representation and performance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Learn deeply about Fivetran to drive practical system improvements.
• Contribute to development and planning of the roadmap.
• Collaborate with a core team and broader stakeholders.
• Work across requirements, design, prototype, implementation, review, release, monitoring.
• Review and approve pull requests.
• Care for the product and drive qualitative enhancements.
