Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Data Ingest team to support IC data custodians with data management across web-based applications. The role focuses on outlining, developing and implementing data engineering solutions within a Linux environment and across diverse data formats.

Candidates should have experience with NiFi, MySQL/NoSQL, XML/CSV/JSON, and analytics, plus JAVA and Splunk. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required for this position.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• 14 years SE experience in similar scope; Bachelor's degree required; 5 years additional SE experience may substitute.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Systems Engineering efforts.
• Able to implement comprehensive SOA solutions.
• Able to conduct end-to-end system trade analyses to optimize lifecycle operations.
• Able to manage evolving system configuration (hardware & software).
• Able to define interfaces with origination, destination, stimulus, and data characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Outline, develop and implement data engineering solutions.
• Interact with data ontologies and structured data types; have database and analytic query experience.
• Model data transformation routines for ingestion into customer repositories and document data flows.
• Familiarity with smart data systems, entitlements; experience with JAVA and Splunk.
