Job summary

Peraton seeks a Systems Engineer to support a data ingestion project for IC data custodians from the contractor facility. You will outline, develop and implement data engineering solutions using NiFi, Linux, and data schemas (XML/CSV/JSON), with database experience required.

You will document data flows, model transformations, and enable secure, scalable ingestion into corporate repositories, with working knowledge of smart data systems, Java and Splunk valued.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; five additional years may substitute for a degree.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Systems Engineering efforts.
• Able to implement comprehensive SOA solutions.
• Able to conduct end-to-end system trade analyses to optimize lifecycle operations.
• Able to document evolving configuration of hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Outline, develop and implement data engineering solutions.
• Work in Linux environment with NiFi, data schemas, and databases.
• Identify, map and model data transformation routines for ingestion.
• Document data flows supporting data routing implementations.
• Able to provide technical direction for the full systems life cycle.
