Job summary

Harmonic is hiring a Data Product Manager in New York, reporting to the Head of Product. You’ll own the data roadmap, oversee how data is acquired and modeled, and work with engineering and data ops to deliver high-signal information to customers and Scout—our AI agent.

You’ll align data initiatives with customer needs, measure quality, and drive first releases that unlock better discovery for investors, founders and GTM teams. Equity is offered as part of the compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management for data products.
• Experience turning data metrics into product impact.
• Ability to work with ingestion, extraction and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• The data roadmap and its impact. Identify data improvements that change what customers can find and act on.
• Strategy for acquiring data; evaluate sources for value, reliability, cost and timeliness.
• Represent the startup ecosystem; reconcile evidence and model relationships over time.
• Define evaluations for accuracy, coverage and freshness; set launch criteria.
• Lead data capability projects from idea to adoption; partner with product and GTM.
• Investigate issues raised by customers and audits; prioritize fixes to improve the dataset.
