Job summary

Sysco is seeking a DG Manager to lead the data governance function across the Sysco landscape. You will drive creation and enforcement of data standards, policies, and processes across data domains to ensure highly available, high-quality data for One Sysco Data initiatives.

You will lead DG operations, engage data stewards, and monitor trends in data stewardship, data quality, and metadata management to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of data governance/ data management experience.
• Experience with data stewardship, metadata management, master data management, and data quality controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert input in data strategy planning, value realization mapping, and risk reporting.
• Lead DG groups and monitor working groups coordinating data governance initiatives.
• Enforce data standards and policies to support One Sysco Data initiatives.
