Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience implementing or operating data governance in a complex org.
• Knowledge of data governance: quality, metadata, lineage, cataloging, stewardship.
• Experience leading teams and influencing without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of domain data analysts and data stewards.
• Implement and maintain data enablement framework, policies and standards.
• Operationalize governance across quality, metadata, lineage, cataloging, and product controls.
• Partner with data owners, EA, IT security, legal, compliance, and tech teams.
• Align analysts with business domains and drive subject-matter expertise.
• Identify and remediate data quality issues with data owners and tech teams.
• Define and monitor data enablement metrics and KPIs.
• Drive adoption by communicating value and enabling cross-functional support.
• Promote compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA and data privacy policies.
• Coach team members with goals, feedback, and service-oriented leadership.
