Job summary

SHI International Corp. seeks a Solutions Architect, Data Governance to lead enterprise governance initiatives for client engagements, partnering with executive stakeholders, data leaders, and delivery teams to establish trust, visibility, and control across data estates.

This role focuses on structured governance including metadata management, business glossary design, taxonomy, data lineage, and stewardship operating models, with leadership on governance architectures and delivery oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Seven+ years delivering enterprise data governance solutions with governance focus.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview: Unified Catalog, Data Map, Data Estate Insights, and data lineage.
• Experience establishing data stewardship programs with executive sponsorship and adoption strategies.
• Experience leading customer-facing consulting engagements and governance assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead data governance strategy and architecture across enterprise data estates.
• Architect and oversee Microsoft Purview governance implementations and related platforms.
• Guide customer engagements through governance workshops, reviews, and roadmap discussions.
• Design governance monitoring and operational reporting using Azure Monitor and related tools.
