Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Architect, Data Governance to lead governance initiatives for enterprise data across client engagements. You’ll partner with executives, data leaders, and delivery teams to implement trusted governance programs.

Focus areas include metadata management, business glossary design, data lineage, and Purview implementation, with exposure to Fabric, Power BI, and Azure services. Strong advisory and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
7+ years delivering enterprise data, information management, or governance solutions.
Hands-on with Microsoft Purview, data governance tooling, and metadata management.
Proven experience leading customer-facing engagements and executive workshops.
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Act as the lead SME for enterprise data governance, Purview, metadata, and taxonomy design.
Lead governance discovery sessions, maturity assessments, and roadmap engagements.
Design enterprise governance frameworks, stewardship models, and glossary standards.
Architect and oversee Purview Data Governance capabilities and related platforms.
Guide customers in governance readiness for modern analytics and AI platforms.
Design governance monitoring, reporting, and adoption tracking.
