Job summary

SHI invites a Solutions Architect, Data Governance, to lead enterprise governance initiatives across client engagements. You will shape governance strategy, design architectures, and guide stakeholders through governance programs from discovery to delivery.

The role focuses on metadata management, taxonomy, data lineage, and stewardship models, with emphasis on Microsoft Purview, Fabric, and Power BI. A strong client-facing posture is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Seven+ years delivering enterprise data, information management, or data governance solutions.
• Hands-on implementation experience with Microsoft Purview including metadata management and data lineage.
• Experience establishing data stewardship programs and governance operating models.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance strategy and architecture initiatives.
• Architect and oversee Microsoft Purview governance capabilities (Unified Catalog, Data Map, Data Estate Insights).
• Engage with executives and data leaders to translate objectives into scalable governance solutions.
• Design governance monitoring and reporting using Azure Monitor and related observability platforms.
