Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Engineering to lead a high-performing data team in a remote role. You will drive data strategy across cloud and hybrid environments, govern data quality, and deliver scalable pipelines for manufacturing insights.

You’ll mentor engineers, collaborate with IT and operations, and ensure solutions align with business goals. This role demands deep data platform experience and a track-record of leadership in data engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS), data integration, and visualization tools (PowerBI).
• Experience with shop floor data sources (PLCs, historians, SCADA, IoT).
• Knowledge of data governance, data architecture, and best practices for data quality and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Design and implement scalable data architectures aligned with manufacturing objectives.
• Manage data acquisition, ingestion, and integration with PLCs, historians, SCADA, and IoT systems.
• Ensure data governance, quality, security, and lifecycle management across projects.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, and supply chain to translate requirements into data solutions.
