Job summary

KIPP Foundation is seeking a senior, hands-on Data Engineering & BI lead to own data architecture, pipelines, and the semantic layer. You will partner with Analytics, IT Operations, Product, and regional teams to deliver reliable data solutions and governance.

This role reports to the Senior Director of Data Management and Governance. Key responsibilities include end-to-end delivery of data architecture and pipelines, data quality, sprint planning, and establishing AI-enabled analytics

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data architecture and pipeline solutions.
• Design semantic layer as single source of truth for BI.
• Implement data quality framework with proactive monitoring.
• Improve data architecture, pipelines, and governance practices.
• Lead BI (Tableau) platform management including availability and security.
• Develop AI-enabled analytics foundations for BI.
• Partner with Analytics, IT, Product, and Regional teams on plans.
• Lead sprint planning, execution, and release delivery.
• Ensure progress transparency and manage risks.
• Mentor and develop team members; manage resources.
