YipitData, a leading market research and analytics company, is seeking a Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead one of our data engineering teams. This role blends hands-on coding, architecture oversight, and people leadership to deliver large-scale data pipelines and AI-ready datasets that power research and customer-facing data feeds.

You will guide data flows, drive data quality, and leverage AI-assisted development practices to accelerate execution while maintaining production reliability

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data architecture, big data development, ETL engineering, or related technical roles.
• 3+ years of managerial experience leading data engineering teams in a hands-on, player-coach capacity.
• Expertise with SQL, PySpark, Databricks, and Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools and AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a global data engineering team while remaining hands-on in architecture, design, code reviews, and delivery.
• Build and improve scalable data pipelines, data models, and QA systems for data products.
• Collaborate with product, research, and operations teams to ensure reliable data delivery and production reliability.
