Publicis Sapient in Chicago is seeking a Senior Associate Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Big Data solutions in a hybrid Chicago environment. You will work with large datasets, real-time processing, and cloud data platforms to enable data-driven decisions for clients.

You will mentor teammates, translate client requirements into robust data architectures, and deliver end-to-end data systems across batch and streaming pipelines, with a focus on AI-enabled data foundations.

Qualifications

• End-to-end data pipelines and production-grade platforms.
• Hands-on with public cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Databricks, notebooks, Delta Lake, or lakehouse patterns.
• Strong Python for data engineering, automation, or AI workflows.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (BigQuery, Redshift, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Experience with streaming and batch data pipelines (ETL tools).
• Knowledge of data modeling and modern lakehouse patterns.
• Familiar with CI/CD, testing, release management, and production support.
• Awareness of MLOps and AI deployment responsibilities.
