Job summary

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Manager Data Engineering/Data Architect in Arlington, VA to design, build, and optimize data platforms for scalable analytics. You will lead end-to-end data solutions, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business value.

You will work with cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Databricks, and modern lakehouse patterns, delivering batch and streaming pipelines while ensuring observability and operations excellence in

Qualifications

• Experience implementing end-to-end data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Databricks experience with notebooks, jobs, Delta Lake.
• Strong Python skills.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with batch and streaming data processing.
• Knowledge of data modeling and warehouse design.
• Familiarity with MLOps and AI deployment.
• Production support, CI/CD, and observability.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data platform design and delivery.
• Translate client requirements into system designs delivering business value.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute hands-on to delivery.
• Build and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Automate data platform operations and telemetry pipelines.
• Support AI-enabled engineering use cases with scalable data services.
• Provide project estimates and feasibility assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive insights.
• Maintain data foundations, retrieval patterns, and context engineering approaches.
