Job summary

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Manager Data Engineering/Data Architect to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms for high-performance analytics. You will work cross-functionally to translate client requirements into end-to-end data solutions that deliver measurable business value.

You will lead large-scale data systems, develop batch and streaming pipelines on modern cloud platforms, and mentor junior engineers while contributing hands-on to delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience implementing end-to-end data pipelines and production-grade data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with at least one leading public cloud data platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong Python proficiency and practical experience with data engineering workloads.
• Experience with column-oriented and NoSQL databases (e.g., BigQuery/Redshift/Vertica; DynamoDB/Bigtable/Cosmos).
• Experience with streaming and batch data integrations using Spark, Glue ETL, Dataflow, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of data modeling, warehouse design, and modern lakehouse/data mesh patterns.
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts and production support for AI/ML deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of large-scale data systems and modernization initiatives.
• Build and optimize batch and streaming pipelines across cloud data platforms.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute hands-on to delivery.
• Develop high-quality data foundations for AI-enabled services and retrieval patterns.
• Automate operations, observability, and telemetry for data platforms including cost data for AI services.
• Provide technical feasibility assessments and project estimates for data solutions.
