Job summary

Clean Energy & Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Data Architect to design and govern data integration across on-prem and cloud environments. You will lead a small team while collaborating with program managers, business groups, and IT support to ensure scalable, secure data architecture and reporting solutions.

The role emphasizes SQL, data warehousing, Power BI, and governance, with a focus on enterprise data standards and efficient data flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer/management information systems.
• 7–10 years related experience and/or training.
• Extensive experience maintaining and supporting production systems and infrastructure.
• Experience with SQL administration and database design.
• Experience with SharePoint and Power Apps suite, especially Power BI.
• Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data integration strategies and solutions for complex projects or business issues.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to plan and develop solutions to support a continually evolving construction organization.
• Work with stakeholders at different levels in the organization.
• Manage and automate data flow.
• Organize data and optimize data retrieval.
• Determine requirements for data design.
• Create roles and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse.
• Operate and optimize: ensure customer satisfaction by providing highly-available, performant systems.
• As subject matter expert, ensure project teams follow data architecture standards.
• Develop ETL processes with Azure Data Factory and similar tools.
• Oversee a team of 2-4 employees.
• Manage staffing, including recruitment, communication of job expectations, supervision, employee development, evaluation and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct employee reviews annually or as needed and recognize and celebrate staff contributions.
• Other duties as assigned
