Job summary

Medbridge is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to own the Snowflake‑centered data platform, driving architecture, security, reliability, and data movement. You will partner with Analytics Engineering, DevOps, Data Science, Security, Product Engineering, ML, and Integrations to reduce platform complexity while enabling AI workloads and data‑powered products.

You will design scalable pipelines, enforce security and RBAC, and lead production‑grade operations, data contracts, and governance.

Qualifications

• Designing and operating cloud data platforms with security and reliability in mind.
• Strong Snowflake RBAC, secure sharing, cost optimization, and data governance.
• Proven data pipeline experience with batch and incremental processing, observability, and recovery.
• Strong Python and SQL engineering skills, modular design, CI/CD, and maintainable interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own the target‑state architecture and technical roadmap for Medbridge’s data platform.
• Build and operate reliable data pipelines across ingestion, processing, and data sources.
• Design and enforce Snowflake security and access patterns for internal and external use.
• Establish production‑grade engineering and platform operations including CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response.
• Own data governance, contracts, schemas, and data contracts with clear downstream impact.
