Genex Service LLC is seeking a Senior Database Engineer to lead the data infrastructure powering Enlyte's analytics. You will shape data pipelines, design core architecture, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive business impact.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of hands-on experience building data infrastructure and pipelines in production cloud environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL, including performance tuning and complex window functions.
• Strong working knowledge of Python for data pipeline development and automation.
• Deep technical experience with modern data stack technologies including Snowflake, dbt, data ingestion tools and orchestration tools.
• Extensive work with OLTP databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) with OLAP understanding.
• Experience with AWS cloud services for data workloads (S3, IAM, networking, Lambda).
• Experience defining and enforcing CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
• Experience with data modeling (Star Schema, Data Vault).
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-directed problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and influences across teams.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain production data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt to integrate and transform data from multiple sources.
• Design and establish core data architecture and patterns for scaling pipelines.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify high-value data integration opportunities with immediate impact.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards through documentation and reviews.
• Make governance recommendations balancing immediate needs with long-term scalability.
• Mentor and lead team members as the department grows.
• Lead proofs-of-concept and MVPs to demonstrate value for larger initiatives.
