Job summary

Enlyte is seeking a Data Engineer for the Casualty Analytics Group to build and maintain data pipelines that power analytics. You will integrate data from multiple source systems into Snowflake, ensuring data quality and accessibility for downstream insights.

The role offers opportunities to increase ownership as the team and platform mature, working with modern tooling like dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, and Snowflake. A strong foundation in SQL and Python is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience building data pipelines in production cloud environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including performance tuning and window functions.
• Working knowledge of Python for data pipeline development and automation.
• Experience with modern data stack technologies including Snowflake, dbt, data ingestion tools (e.g. Snowflake Openflow, Fivetran), orchestration tools (e.g. Dagster, Airflow).
• Familiarity with OLTP databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and OLAP concepts.
• Experience with AWS data workloads (S3 or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Git workflows; strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive and self-motivated in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt to integrate data from various sources.
• Implement data models and transformations following established patterns and standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and senior engineers to understand data requirements and deliver integrations.
• Write and maintain documentation for pipelines and data models.
• Contribute to data governance, testing, monitoring, and alerting.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain pipeline quality.
• Build proof-of-concepts and MVPs for larger data initiatives.
