Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Sr. Data Engineer in the United States. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time data, support Snowflake architecture, and optimize data movement from on-premises to cloud sources. Mentorship and cross-team governance are part of the role.

You will drive adoption of dbt for data transformation and collaborate with teams on cloud integrations (Azure/AWS) to enable self-service data capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Five+ years of dedicated data engineering experience building production-grade data pipelines.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and data sharing.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines for batch, real-time streaming, and event-driven data movement.
• Acts as core developer for the Snowflake data platform, supporting performance, modeling, and storage structures.
• Architects and builds transformation pipelines delivering high-quality data inputs to Snowflake and dbt AI features.
