Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for its Marketplace Services team to build and maintain core data pipelines and models that reveal how the business performs at scale. You will partner with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to translate needs into robust data solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of data or software engineering experience, with expertise in Snowflake, dbt, Estuary, Airbyte, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software or data engineering.
• Strong cloud data warehouse practice.
• Experience with ETL, dbt, and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to design scalable data solutions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using dbt, Dagster, Snowflake, Estuary, and Airbyte.
• Develop deployment and CI/CD workflows for data projects.
• Design and operate AWS-based data infrastructure for scale and cost efficiency.
• Create internal self-service tooling to accelerate data delivery.
