Job summary

Genius Business Solutions seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and platforms supporting analytics, reporting, and AIML use cases. The role emphasizes Snowflake on AWS, Python ETL/ELT development, and enterprise scheduling with Control-M.

You will collaborate with Data Science, BI, and Platform teams in an Agile delivery model to enable data products and governed datasets across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
• Strong Snowflake SQL development, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM) and Python ETL/ELT development.
• Familiarity with IBM DataStage and enterprise scheduling tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain batch and near real-time data pipelines using Snowflake and Python.
• Build and optimize Snowflake data models (dimensional, data vault, curated marts).
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows with Python and DataStage; migrate workloads.
• Implement job scheduling, monitoring, and operational support with Control-M.
• Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and documentation across pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Science, AI, BI, Product, and Platform teams in Agile ceremonies.
