Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Sr. Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines across batch, real-time, and event-driven movement. The role focuses on Snowflake data platform, data modeling, and secure data sharing to support advanced analytics and AI features.

You will guide a data engineer and collaborate with data analysts to mature engineering practices, while leveraging dbt, Azure Functions, and cloud data tools.

Qualifications

• Five (5)+ years of dedicated data engineering experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and data sharing.
• Experience moving data across hybrid environments (on‑prem to cloud) using batch, streaming, and event-driven patterns.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines for batch, real-time streaming, and event-driven data movement.
• Serves as core developer for Snowflake data platform, supports performance, modeling, and storage structures.
• Architects and builds transformation pipelines delivering high-quality inputs to Snowflake and dbt AI features.
