We are hiring a Data Engineer to design and deliver the data capabilities behind new application features, collaborating with software engineers and product teams to shape data models, pipelines, and observability that ensure accuracy, security, and value

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience integrating external APIs and handling changing schemas.
• Experience applying software engineering practices to data systems including version control, testing, CI/CD, observability.
• Ability to explain tradeoffs and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver value.
• Experience with Azure/GCP and cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake.

Responsibilities

• Embed with engineering teams to translate requirements into data models and interfaces.
• Design, build, and operate production data pipelines using SQL, Python, PySpark and cloud data technologies.
• Build ingestion and transformation workflows delivering usable data to application services.
• Design customer-aware data flows that preserve tenant boundaries and data lifecycle requirements.
• Make pipelines resilient with incremental processing, retries, backfills, and data-quality checks.
• Build observability to track data freshness, completeness, progress and failures.
