Job summary

Socure is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and operate scalable data pipelines powering identity verification and analytics. You will own end-to-end data initiatives, build streaming and batch workloads, and partner with data science and product teams to deliver reliable, cost-efficient platforms.

You will apply modern cloud-native architectures, emphasize data quality and automation, and explore GenAI-assisted ingestion to keep the platform at the cutting edge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in production systems.
• Strong coding in Python or Scala for data processing and SQL analytics.
• Hands-on with distributed frameworks like Spark and AWS data services.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain batch and streaming pipelines to power analytics and ML features.
• Own end-to-end delivery including architecture, tests, deployment, and monitoring.
• Evolve data platforms with cloud-native tech and cost/performance optimization.
• Automate data operations: validation, quality checks, alerts, recovery workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams to meet requirements.
