Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of coding experience in Python, Scala, Java, SQL.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with modern data platforms (Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Experience with ETL/ELT and Azure Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Event Hubs).
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, ODS, data lake/lakehouse solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps) and GitHub workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex, multi‑tier cloud data solutions.
• Build scalable data pipelines (batch, near real‑time, API integrations).
• Drive prototypes and scalable data solutions balancing tech and business needs.
• Champion metadata management, data quality, lineage and governance.
• Organize data curation policies across platforms and workflows.
• Mentor data engineering teams through design reviews and development activities.
• Partner with architects and leadership to document roadmaps and cloud modernization.
• Contribute to coding standards, CI/CD, automated testing and code quality.
