Credit Genie is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to own scalable data pipelines across Snowflake and AWS. You will design, implement, and operate ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring data quality and reliability for analytics and downstream applications.

You will collaborate with Analytics Engineering, Data Science, and Product to deliver dependable data products and maintain strong engineering standards. From day one, you will work on high-impact data initiatives, optimize storage and processing costs, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production data systems.
• Advanced SQL and Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Snowflake and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• ETL/ELT, orchestration, and data modeling expertise.
• Familiarity with streaming/CDC technologies and data quality controls.
• Strong software engineering practices and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate scalable data pipelines across batch, streaming, and CDC patterns.
• Lead ETL/ELT design and orchestration, optimizing performance and cost.
• Build SQL and Python solutions for data transformation and validation.
• Enhance data quality, observability, and incident response for data products.
• Optimize Snowflake workloads and pipeline architecture for reliability.
• Collaborate with analytics, data science, product, and engineering teams.
