Job summary

Credit Genie is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own scalable data pipelines and platform capabilities across Snowflake and AWS. You will tackle complex data problems, ensure data reliability, and enable analytics and downstream applications with strong technical judgment.

You will design data pipelines, orchestrate ETL/ELT, and partner across teams to deliver data products that power analytics and business decisions.

Qualifications

5+ years designing, building, and operating production data systems.
Advanced SQL skills and Python for data processing.
Experience with Snowflake and AWS cloud infrastructure.
ETL/ELT, orchestration, and data modeling skills.
Experience with data quality controls, monitoring, and production support.
Git-based development and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and operate reliable data pipelines across batch, streaming, and CDC patterns.
Lead ETL/ELT design and orchestration workflow decisions for performance and cost.
Develop SQL and Python solutions for transformation, automation, and data processing.
Strengthen data quality, freshness monitoring, and observability.
Optimize Snowflake workloads, storage, and pipeline architecture for reliability and cost-efficiency.
Investigate production data incidents, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
Collaborate with Analytics Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Engineering to deliver data products.
Advance engineering standards and reusable patterns across testing, version control, and CI/CD.
