Unity is building a robust, near real-time reporting platform that powers analytics and decision-making across our ecosystem. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and implement distributed data systems at scale.

In this role you will design high-throughput, low-latency pipelines, modernize architecture with a grpc-based service, and own ad-serving data services from ingestion to warehouse, collaborating with ML and reporting teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing high-throughput data pipelines.
• Proficiency with streaming semantics, watermarking and event-time processing.
• Production experience with streaming frameworks such as Flink or Spark.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end attribution pipeline and data landing in data warehouse.
• Build and operate real-time ad event processing pipelines at scale.
• Lead architectural modernization with a grpc-based service replacement.
• Improve low-latency data services and caching layers.
• Build and maintain ad serving infrastructure, including logging and Kafka-backed caching.
• Monitor data health and run batch pipelines to BigQuery.
• Collaborate with ML, Reporting, and external partners for timely signals.
