Unity Technologies is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build an internal AI product analytics agent that lets teams query product data in natural language. You will split time between curating analytics datasets and advancing the knowledge layer, with strong collaboration from data scientists and analysts across Unity.

You will help define the data and quality direction for the platform, leveraging your experience in data engineering and production systems to deliver measurable improvements

Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping production systems.
• Hands-on data engineering with SQL, data modelling and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve analytics datasets queried by the agent.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines feeding datasets.
• Improve knowledge base search and retrieval quality.
• Develop evaluation systems to measure answer quality.
• Build backend agent workflows for prompt handling and orchestration.
• Create user-facing features to accelerate analytics workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists to turn recurring needs into reusable capabilities.
• Help set roadmaps for data and quality platforms.
