Job summary

VINGS Technologies Limited is hiring a Data Engineer to lead Snowflake-based ELT development and dbt-driven data transformations. The role requires hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and Python, with a focus on scalable data architectures and production-grade pipelines.

You will drive CI/CD for dbt, implement observability and automated data quality tests, and mentor the data engineering team in an onsite-offshore delivery model.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering and leading projects.
• Experience building scalable ELT pipelines in Snowflake.
• Ability to implement CI/CD for dbt and automate data quality testing.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, security in Snowflake, and DevOps deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical teams in Snowflake data solutions development.
• Design and optimize data models with Snowflake and dbt.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for ETL/ELT processes.
• Use Python for scripting and automation of data workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor team members to uplift technical capabilities.
