Job summary

VINGS Technologies Limited is hiring a Data Engineer to lead Snowflake-based ELT development and dbt-driven data transformations. The role requires hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and Python, with a focus on scalable data architectures and production-grade pipelines.

You will drive CI/CD for dbt, implement observability and automated data quality tests, and mentor the data engineering team in an onsite-offshore delivery model.

Qualifications

Role Summary

Technical lead for Data Engineering with hands‑on expertise in Snowflake-based cloud data warehousing and modern ELT development using dbt (Core or Cloud), with deep proficiency in advanced SQL, incremental and snapshot strategies, performance tuning, and cost optimization in Snowflake.

The candidate must have experience designing scalable, production-grade ELT pipelines, implementing CI/CD for dbt, integrating orchestration tools, and enforcing data quality through automated testing and observability frameworks.

Strong understanding of cloud platforms and security in Snowflake, version control (Git), and DevOps-driven deployment practices is required, along with demonstrated experience leading technical design reviews and mentoring data engineering teams and work in onsite-offshore model mentoring the offshore members to drive delivery.
