Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Scientist to advance drug development through computational biology, biostatistics, and biomarker analytics. You will translate complex datasets into testable hypotheses using ML and Deep Learning on multimodal datasets (clinical, omics, real-world data).

You will collaborate with clinicians, statisticians, and IT professionals to drive strategy, build predictive models, and optimize biomarker assays for clinical trials.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant quantitative field (i.e. Computational Biology, Biostatistics, Statistics, Computer Science) with 1+ year experience or Master’s with 3+ years of industry experience.
• Experience in analysis of data generated by one or more -omics or molecular assays is required.
• Experience applying AI/ML and proficiency in SQL, Python, R and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply computational methods for biomarker analysis and patient segmentation.
• Collaborate with statisticians to write SAPs and analyze biomarkers from trials and real-world data.
• Execute analyses on high-dimensional data from cutting-edge technologies.
• Build predictive models and scalable automated workflows.
