Guild Mortgage Company seeks a Senior DataOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and storage systems, ensuring security, resilience, and scalable performance. You will lead automation, monitoring, and disaster recovery efforts while collaborating with multiple teams to meet business needs.

The role requires strategic planning, technical leadership, and a focus on safeguarding data as a critical asset.

Qualifications

Minimum five years experience in data engineering or DataOps.
Experience with monitoring/alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
Strong understanding of data quality principles and practices.
Knowledge of cloud storage services in AWS and Azure.
Experience with disaster recovery strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Execute DataOps projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery.
Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline data workflows.
Set up monitoring and alerting systems for data pipelines and storage.
Ensure data security measures and compliance with regulations.
Develop disaster recovery plans and redundancy measures.
Migrate data to cloud environments while ensuring integrity.
Establish and enforce data pipeline standards for performance and cost.
Collaborate with Product Delivery, Data Services, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.
