Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Data Engineer to advance the organization’s data strategy within the enterprise data platform. The role focuses on expanding and optimizing data pipelines, data delivery architecture, and cross-functional data collection.

Qualifications

BS in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related quantitative field is required.
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Data Engineer roles.
Proficient in building and optimizing Big Data pipelines, architecture, and data sets.
Proficient with data loading, processing, and data warehouse design techniques.
Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data governance.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to support data infrastructure needs and ensure timely data delivery.
ELT data from various sources into the data lake using Snowflake and Informatica tools.
Assemble large, complex data sets meeting business requirements.
Design internal processes to improve data delivery and scalability.
Build data tools for data scientists and analytics teams.
