SiriusXM is seeking a Senior Staff Data Engineer to build, own, and scale backend services, data products and reporting applications. You will shape the AdsWizz data products and analytics at scale, automating data onboarding for SXM Media and AdsWizz services.

You will lead architecture discussions, design high‑performing pipelines, and collaborate with product teams and other engineers to deliver reliable data solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience in Python or Java.
• 7+ years designing, building, and managing data pipelines with Spark and BigQuery.
• 7+ years crafting REST API based microservices on AWS and GCP.
• Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) and data contracts.

Responsabilités

• Design and build high‑performance, scalable reporting APIs and data pipelines.
• Lead architecture discussions with ad measurement, revenue and addressability data.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams in a shared development process.
• Clarify project scope with product teams and provide actionable guidance.
• Deliver tasks with clear ownership and timely progress updates.
• Coordinate production deployments with Global Operations and Cloud Infra.
