Job summary

ZoomInfo is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Analytical Data team and build the lakehouse powering our Data organization. You’ll work across streaming and batch ingestion, Iceberg table management, and multi-engine data access to provide fresh, trusted data for analysts and AI agents.

This hands-on data engineering role expects strong Kotlin/Java/Python skills, experience with Beam or Spark, and productionKafka knowledge, with end-to-end ownership from ingestion to production

Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering with data emphasis.
Proficient in Kotlin, Java, or Python for data pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Beam or Spark in production.
Experience with Kafka or similar streaming platforms.
Designs for very large datasets and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Build and run Kotlin and Apache Beam pipelines on Dataflow.
Maintain large Iceberg tables with partitioning and compaction.
Make datasets queryable via BigQuery, Snowflake, and Trino.
Collaborate with producer teams on schemas and data contracts.
Develop observability with Datadog dashboards and alerts.
Own pipelines in production from incident to fix.
