ZoomInfo is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Analytical Data team, building and running data pipelines across Iceberg tables on GCP and AWS. You will work with Kotlin, Python, and Beam/Spark to ingest data from Kafka and cloud storage, maintain large datasets, and provide fast, accurate query access via BigQuery, Snowflake, and Starburst/Trino.

Hybrid work in Bethesda, MD is supported. This hands-on role emphasizes production ownership, observability, and collaboration with data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering with a focus on data engineering or distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Kotlin, Java, or Python; pipelines in Kotlin and Python as described.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Beam (ideally on Google Cloud Dataflow) or Apache Spark.
• Experience with Apache Kafka or similar streaming platform in production.
• Experience with very large datasets and distributed systems; scalable data models.

Responsabilités

• Build and run Kotlin and Apache Beam pipelines on Google Cloud Dataflow to load data into Iceberg tables.
• Maintain large Iceberg tables with partitioning, compaction, deduplication, and budget-conscious practices.
• Make datasets queryable from BigQuery, Snowflake, and Starburst/Trino via Iceberg catalogs.
• Collaborate with producer teams on schemas and data contracts; publish datasets clearly.
• Develop observability with Datadog dashboards/monitors and plan for AI-assisted alert triage.
• Own production pipelines from incident response to remediation; drive reliability.
• Ship code with CI/CD, staged releases, and Terraform-managed infrastructure across GCP/AWS.
