Job summary

Tieto Tech Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines. You will implement governance, work with Databricks, and optimize CI/CD for automated deployments across cloud environments.

You will partner with stakeholders, mentor teammates, and stay at the forefront of data engineering trends while applying innovative IT solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable data solutions
• Strong data modeling skills including dimensional modeling
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP welcome) and data tools like Databricks
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills; good cross-language collaboration
• Proficient in Git, CI/CD practices, and modern development workflows

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and governance concepts
• Develop and optimize data pipelines using Databricks or similar tech
• Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Serve as technical advisor to customers and cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
• Monitor and optimize performance and reliability of data workflows
