Job summary

Tatari is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own end-to-end data pipelines for reporting and measurement. You will design, build and operate large-scale ETL processes, working closely with data science, backend and product teams to ship trusted analytics datasets.

The role requires strong Python/SQL, Spark/PySpark, and experience with Databricks and Delta Lake, plus a Hybrid RTO in SF to collaborate in person.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, building and operating production ETL pipelines at scale
• Strong programming in Python and SQL; deep hands-on Spark/PySpark experience (Databricks/Delta Lake)
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, including DAG design/backfills
• Strong data modeling for analytics and data contracts used by downstream services

Responsibilities

• Design, build and own large-scale ETL pipelines powering Tatari's reporting and measurement products
• Take data products from requirements through tech specs, implementation, validation and rollout
• Collaborate with data science, backend/frontend engineers, and product on data needs
• Ensure data quality, validation and operating datasets end-to-end
