Job summary

TTEC Digital is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer in the United States to lead end-to-end data platforms on the Azure Data & AI stack. You will own architecture decisions, build production-grade pipelines, and mentor other engineers while engaging with client stakeholders.

The role emphasizes data lifecycle expertise from ingestion to activation, API design, and governance, with a focus on Azure Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks. A senior hands-on practitioner is required.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of data engineering experience with Azure.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and PySpark for large pipelines.
• Experience with end-to-end data lifecycle and data governance tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and build of end-to-end data platforms on Azure Data Factory, Fabric and Databricks.
• Architect lakehouse patterns (Bronze/Silver/Gold) balancing performance and cost.
• Own data modeling for client engagements across domains.
• Design APIs and MCP-based integrations for data activation.
• Mentor engineers and communicate architecture trade-offs to stakeholders.
