Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines and support data-driven analytics. You will partner with stakeholders and engineers to own the full data lifecycle from modeling to optimization, using a modern data stack across cloud and on-prem platforms.

The role requires deep SQL, Python and PySpark experience, dimensional modeling, and excellent communication. Hybrid work in multiple hub locations is available with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 3+ years in Cloud Data Engineering platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• 3+ years in on-prem data warehousing (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
• Programming in SQL, Python, PySpark for cloud and on-prem warehousing.
• Hands-on with dimensional modeling, schema design and data warehousing.
• Troubleshooting data issues and performance improvements.
• Ability to own tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build robust and scalable data pipelines for analytics and BI.
• Partner with stakeholders, analysts, product teams and engineers to deliver data solutions.
• Own the full data lifecycle from modeling to ETL/ELT tuning and optimization.
• Troubleshoot data issues and apply performance-improvement techniques.
