Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver data-driven analytics and BI solutions.

You will work with GCP, AWS, Snowflake, BigQuery, and Spark/PySpark, shaping the data lifecycle from modeling to performance tuning in a hybrid work setting across multiple hub locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SQL and relational DB experience.
• 3+ years in cloud data engineering platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• 3+ years in on-prem data engineering platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
• Programming in SQL, Python, PySpark for data warehousing.
• Dimensional data modeling and data warehousing experience.
• Troubleshooting data issues and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, robust and scalable data pipelines.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver data-driven analytics and BI solutions.
• Own data lifecycle from modeling to ETL/ELT development and optimization.
• Work with cloud-native and on-prem data environments.
• Support data quality and performance improvements.
